Care and Maintenance:
Spice Carrier: For lightly soiled carrier, use a spot cleaner or mild detergent and water. For more serious cleaning launder with mild detergent in cold water on gentle cycle and hang dry.
To help keep your spice carrier clean be sure to wipe the bottle threads clean before securing the cap. The bottles are leak proof, however if oil or other liquid is left on the threads of the bottle or cap it may be possible for that small amount of liquid to soil the Carrier.
Bottles: General cleaning
- Soak in warm mild soapy water
- Soak in warm water with lemon juice
- Soak in warm water with baking soda
- Wash in dishwasher, top shelf (away from the heating element)
Over time, staining may occur in the bottles. To remove stubborn stains: Fill the bottle with a mixture of 1 tablespoon bleach to every cup of water. Let it stand overnight. Wash thoroughly with warm soapy water or in dishwasher, top shelf (away from the heating element).
