Located in Southern Oregon, all of our spice carriers are made in the USA.

The idea for Spices to Go began after a trip to the US Virgin Islands a few years ago. We chartered a 38-foot sailboat with friends and spent the week Island hopping. We love to cook, so we took a variety of seasonings and specialty spices that we did not want to find and purchase on the Islands. Among all of us, we had a variety of tiny glass jars, plastic seasoning containers, plastic Ziploc bags, and plastic bags held tight by twist ties; you get the picture. Well all of the seasonings made it in one piece except a few. The only problem was that one of the seasonings that broke open was Indian Curry Powder. We were still finding curry when we packed up to come home.

Well, after that vacation the idea to develop a compact, portable spice carrier began to take form.

• We knew we wanted a carrier that could go anywhere, on any vacation or camping trip.

• We wanted something that was compact, storable, and easy to use.

• We wanted to be able to take Olive oil or White Wine Worcestershire sauce without worrying about leaks.

• We wanted containers that were as indestructible as we could find.

• Finally, we wanted the ability to pick the seasoning we wanted, to customize our spices to the recipes we enjoy the most.

What we came up with is a spice carrier that has an exterior constructed of 1000 Denier *CORDURA® nylon: rugged, durable and cleans easily. We found bottles that are leak proof and crush resistant.
